Workflows & Schedules

Chain multiple tasks into automated sequences, then put them on a schedule so your AI team keeps working in the background.

DaniContent agency, 8 clients

Every Monday, Dani's workflow kicks off automatically: the Research agent scans trending topics in each client's niche, the Content Writer drafts 3 blog outlines per client, and the Social Manager turns the best ones into teaser posts. By the time Dani opens her dashboard, 24 outlines and 8 social batches are waiting for review. She spends 20 minutes reviewing instead of 4 hours creating.

What Are Workflows?#

A workflow is a chain of tasks that run in order. Each step uses one of your agents, and the output of one step feeds into the next as context.

Workflows are ideal for repeatable processes: content pipelines, research-then-draft sequences, data collection and analysis, and anything else that follows the same steps every time.

Building a Workflow#

  1. 1.Go to Workflows in the sidebar and click New Workflow
  2. 2.Describe the overall goal in plain English, e.g., "Research trending topics in my niche, draft 3 blog outlines, and create social teasers"
  3. 3.The platform breaks your description into steps and assigns agents
  4. 4.Review the steps, adjust if needed, and save

Inputs#

Workflows can ask for inputs each time you run them. For example, a competitor analysis workflow might ask "Which company?" before it starts. This lets you reuse the same workflow with different inputs each time.

Running & Monitoring#

Click the play button on any workflow to start a run. The execution viewer shows real-time progress through each step:

  • Which step is currently active
  • The output of completed steps (expandable)
  • Any errors that occurred

You can cancel a running workflow at any time and retry failed runs from the step that failed.

Run History#

Each workflow card shows a history of recent runs with their status, date, and results.

Workflow Ideas#

Not sure where to start? Here are workflows that ohwow users love:

  • Weekly content pipeline: Research trending topics → draft blog outlines → write social teasers → queue for review
  • Lead enrichment: Find prospects in a niche → research each company → draft personalized outreach emails
  • Customer feedback digest: Pull recent support tickets → analyze sentiment → summarize top issues → draft response templates
  • Competitor watch: Monitor competitor blogs and changelogs → summarize changes → flag anything relevant to your roadmap
  • Monthly reporting: Gather metrics from connected tools → build charts and summaries → draft a stakeholder update

Scheduled Tasks#

You can also schedule individual tasks to run on a recurring basis. Great for work that doesn't need a full workflow:

  • "Every Friday at 5 PM, generate a weekly summary report"
  • "Every morning, check for new competitor blog posts"
  • "First of every month, draft an invoice for client X"

Scheduled tasks show up in your activity feed and task list like any other task.

Note

Scheduled tasks are available on all plans. See Plans & Credits for details.
